Nigel's Bio
Nigel Heald has an enviable track record of success, starting as a salesman 30 years
ago selling famous name chocolates, Elizabeth Shaw mint crisps and Chewits (remember
the Chewit Monster ad? No that wasn’t him in the costume!).
Throughout his very successful career
Nigel has worked for major blue chip companies such as Lyons Tetley, Walkers Crisps,
Stag Furniture, Gardena and Phostrogen.
He has held positions of Sales Manager,
Sales Trainer, Sales & Marketing Director and Managing Director, managing multi-million pound businesses and responsible for 100+ employees.
Nigel is a qualified NLP practitioner and helps delegates to use these skills to
create instant rapport with buyers as well as fully understanding the many different
types of personalities and how to communicate effectively
with all of them. Nigel is also a SFEDI accredited business advisor
and works very closely with Business
Link helping businesses fulfil their potential in many different market sectors.
Nigel started his training business 5 years ago after identifying that many sales
professional as well as independent business people struggled to develop coherent
and successful marketing strategies as well as SELL in a consultative way. Nigel
feels that selling doesn’t need to be difficult and that the majority of sales people
were making it far too hard for themselves.
Nigel is a strong believer in the psychology of the sales and buying process - believing
in the consultative sales process, getting buyers to BUY from you rather than having
to SELL! Anyone can develop these skills. It really doesn’t matter whether they
are introverted, extroverted, analytical, friendly, inexperienced, young or old,
whether you are selling face to face or over the phone.
Nigel uses experiential training techniques to ensure delegates not only easily
understand the skills been taught but also have great fun in a friendly, motivational
and encouraging environment.
